What
are the steps to completing a rebate submission?
Step
1:
Read the rebate form carefully.
Step
2:
Gather the materials specified on the rebate form. Most rebate
programs require: . A receipt showing the purchase date and the
item(s) purchased . A UPC from the product packaging
Some
rebate programs also require additional information such as a serial
number, or activation code. These additional requirements will
be included on the rebate form. Take great care in including all of
the items indicated on your rebate
form.
Step
3:
Complete the rebate form in neat handwriting. Alternatively, you can
use a preprinted mailing label.
Step
4:
Provide an email address for up to the minute processing
updates. Your email
information is protected under our privacy policy.
Step
5:
Make photocopies of all materials you are submitting for the rebate.
Keep your copies handy as we will need them should a problem arise
with your rebate submission.
Step
6:
If you are mailing the submission, place the materials in an
envelope addressed to the address indicated on the rebate form.
Include a return address on the envelope so that the materials will
be returned to you if the envelope becomes damaged or misdirected
before it arrives at the mailing address.
Step
7:
If you are mailing your submission, drop it off at any post office
or mailbox prior to the postmark date on the rebate form. If you are
faxing your submission, fax your submission prior to the postmark
date on the rebate form.
Why
should I make photocopies of my materials?
Submissions
can be damaged during mailing which hinders our ability to properly
process your rebate. Making photocopies of your rebate materials
provides you with a safeguard- you can submit the copies by mail fax
or email and we can use this to fill in any missing or incomplete
information in your rebate record.
Where
do I find the original UPC to submit with my rebate
request?
The
original UPC, the product bar code consisting of 12 numbers, is
usually found on the bottom, side or inside flap of the box and
looks like the example below. The numbers vary for each
UPC, but the basic pattern remains the same.one number on the outer
left, 10 numbers in the middle, one number on the outer right hand
side. A UPC will NEVER contain
letters.
This
is an example UPC.
What
is the serial number?
The
serial number is a series of numbers (and sometimes letters) that
can be located on the product itself. The serial number is often
located on a small sticker, metal plate or other label affixed to
the back or bottom of the product. The serial number is different
from the UPC, which is located on the product
package.
If
your rebate requires a serial number, please be sure to include it
with your rebate submission. If you are not sure where the serial
number is located, check the product's manual, contact the rebate
sponsor, or contact us at 1-877-630-2345.
What
do you mean by the "purchase date" and "postmark
date"?
The
"purchase date" is the actual date on which the purchase was made,
as printed on your receipt. The purchase date must be during the
specified date range on your rebate coupon. The "postmark date" is
the date on which the post office processes and stamps your
envelope. You will only qualify for a rebate if your envelope is
processed by the post office on or before the specified postmark
date.
Can
I send you a copy of my receipt and keep the
original?
Absolutely.
You can send a copy of your receipt, unless otherwise specified on
the rebate coupon.
How
can I apply for a rebate if I lost the original
receipt?
To
give you a rebate, we need a copy of the purchase receipt. Most
stores can reprint a receipt for you. Please contact the retail
store, distributor or website where you purchased the
product.
If
there is a rebate on a product and I bought more than one, can I
claim a rebate for
each
one?
Possibly.
See the rules on your rebate coupon.
I
purchased a product online and did not receive a receipt. Can I
still request a rebate?
Virtually
all purchases made online usually do include an e-mail confirmation,
which includes the product information, the purchase price and the
purchase date. For these purchases, the e-mail confirmation may be
used as your receipt. Contact the store if you did not receive
it.
I
forgot to send one of the required items with my rebate submission.
What should I do?
Hold
on to the item. We encourage you to resubmit your claim with the
correct information within 30 days from the date of this
communication. Be sure to include your name, address, phone number,
promotion name and tracking number.
How
long does it take to receive my rebate?
Please
allow up to 8-10 weeks from the date your rebate was approved. It
may arrive sooner, but we ask that you wait the full 8-10 weeks to
allow sufficient processing time.
It's
been longer than 8 weeks and I still have not received my rebate.
What should I do?
First
confirm that your submission has been received and that we have your
correct mailing address. If all the information is correct and 8
weeks have passed, please call 1-877-630-2345 to have our
staff investigate your rebate.
Why
does the rebate sponsor take so long to send my money?
There
are security precautions built into the rebate system to prevent
identify theft, properly verify all information on all of the
accompanying documentation.
I
submitted all my rebate paperwork per the terms and conditions, but
when I went online to check the status of my rebate, I was advised
that my information is not in the system. Why is
that?
Your
submission might have not been received by our rebate processing
center as of yet. Please allow adequate time for delivery by mail
plus about 14 business days for data entry.
If
you are still experiencing any problems, please call us at
1-877-630-2345.
I
found out that my rebate submission was not valid for some reason.
What do I need to do to receive my rebate?
If
your rebate is invalid due to some missing information such as the
UPC, serial number or other proof of purchase requirements, you may
resubmit the missing information. You should receive a letter,
e-mail or postcard stating that your rebate is invalid. Be sure to
include your name, address, phone number, promotion name and
tracking number. If your rebate is invalid due to reasons other than
missing information, please carefully review the rebate requirements
on the coupon or website. It is possible that the requirements were
not met. If you still are unsure, contact us at

I
forgot to send in for my rebate and now it has expired. If I send it
in late, will I be able to get my rebate?
Promotions
such as rebates are carefully planned for within given times. If the
postmark date has passed for your rebate, unfortunately you will not
qualify for that particular rebate. Please be sure to send in for
your rebate right away in the future. However, It is possible that
another rebate form applies to your purchase. Please call 1-877-630-2345
